UMC Library has five basic Kindles electronic book readers from Amazon. We also acquired a few Kindle Fire readers. To check out a Kindle request one at the Circulation Desk. We set four weeks as the loan period for basic Kindles. We thought this was long enough to read a book or two during the busy school year. We set the loan period for the Kindle Fire readers for two weeks so more folks can try them out.
