Aggie Alumni Publication
The Aggie alumni publication was created for alumni, family, and friends of the Northwest School of Agriculture, a residential high school, which operated from 1906 to 1968.
From 1968 to 2007, the University of Minnesota Crookston published the Aggie, a bi-yearly (sometimes tri-yearly) alumni publication, to inform and connect current and past students of that era. The publication started as a small newspaper and later evolved into a magazine format. The current website contains issues from 1979-2007 (earlier issues will be added as they become available).
In 2007, the Aggie and Torch publications were combined to serve the needs of the Northwest School of Agriculture, the University of Minnesota Technical Institute, and the University of Minnesota Crookston.
Today, the Torch publication serves as the alumni publication for all three student and alumni groups who attended high school or college at the University of Minnesota Crookston location, thus providing a means of connection for students from all three time periods.
It is our hope the Aggie alumni publication digital archive will continue to provide a meaningful connection to UMC's proud heritage. For more information, see UMC History.
